How might we innovate in
financial and legal services?

PROBLEM

Professional services such as financial and legal services are evaluating the impact of technology on their organisations and business models. Some of the challenges that the participants are grappling with in their organisations include:

• How can professional services reinvent their service offering and create new business models?
• What does the digital transformation mean for the future of our business?

APPROACH

• A diverse group of different management levels from various companies participated in the workshop.
• Fakawee facilitated a Design Thinking discovery workshop where participants were given an innovation challenge to solve in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Fakawee guided the participants through the different steps of the process from understanding the problem, to sharing ideas and creating a solution.

OUTCOME

• Participants applied Design Thinking in an immersive workshop, with limited time and limited resources.
• Teams visualised and shared their ideas and experienced the value of experimenting in short cycles.
• The workshop helped participants to think about the problems from the customer’s perspective. It also helped them to gain insights about how they may create value for their clients in the future.
