PROBLEM
- Fusion Point is a learning environment where engineering, design, business and law students come together to develop solutions to real life challenges in an immersive learning experience.
- Fusion Point has run 7 successful courses over 5 years. It strives to create learning environments that are interdisciplinary, inviting, engaging, and empowering.
- In order to continue their progress, it is essential that the 3 institutions have a shared vision. The challenge for Fusion Point was to share their perspectives and create the basis from which to develop their strategy.
APPROACH
- Fakawee facilitated a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY ® workshop where the team members from ESADE, UPC and IED built and shared physical LEGO models to represent the role of each organisation today and the future.
- They also built a system of the shared Fusion Point entity and the current and future role of each organisation.
OUTCOME
- The workshop was an interactive way to share complex ideas with colleagues.
- Fakawee engaged people from different roles and organisations and helped to create a shared understanding between team members of their current and future roles.
- The 3 different entities gained insights about the value that they bring to the shared Fusion Point environment, identified synergies and key challenges.
